ARKNAT TÅKERN – OMBERG
In 2021 Naturum Tåkern reached out to Arknat and were curious at us. The summer of 2023 we called Tåkern-Omberg home and learned about their area and unique nature while creating new places in nature.

A UNIQUE CO-OPERATION
ARKNAT Tåkern-Omberg is a collaboration between many different organisations and companies who all support Arknat in best possible and personal way.
Some helped us with essential building material and tools like Cramo Mjölby, Essve, and SETRA with the wood.
Other partners like the municipalities of Ödeshög and Vadstena supported with the sites and great help with small and big issues.
Region of Östergötland and Länsstyrelsen are Arknat’s no 1 fan and helped out both moneywise and with great trail knowledge. The local bank foundation Sparbanksstiftelsen Alfa (Swedbank) supported us and think we are doing a great job creating new places in nature for public use.
As you see there are many partners involved. Thanks to them Arknat can be Arknat and our visions becomes reality.

ARCHITECTURE OF THE YEAR
In the year 2020 ARKNAT won the “Architecute of the Year” awards (Årets Arkitektur). The awards was handed out during the Swedish Design Awards by RUM in Stockholm.
