ARKNAT SKÅNE

In 2018 Skåneleden reached out to Arknat and were curious at us. Last two summers we’ve spent 6 weeks in total designing and building 9 unique wind shelters along the trail Skåneleden.

A UNIQUE CO-OPERATION

ARKNAT Skåne is a collaboration between many different stakeholders who all support Arknat in best possible and personal way.

Some sponsor us with essential building material and tools like Cramo, XL-BYGG, Essve, Organowood, Moelven and Ängavången Ekgolv.
Other partners like the municipalities of Östra Göinge, Kristianstad, Bromölla, Ängelholm, Landskrona, Kävlinge, Malmö, Trelleborg and Svedala supported with the sites and great help with small and big issues.
Region Skåne with Skåneleden are Arknat’s no 1 fan and help out both moneywise and with great trail knowledge. The local banks Sparbanken Skåne, Gripen, Färs & Frosta and Sparbankstiftelsen Skåne supports us and think we are doing a great job creating new places in nature for public use.
As you see there are many partners involved. Thanks to them Arknat can be Arknat and our visions becomes reality.

ARCHITECTURE OF THE YEAR

In the year 2020 ARKNAT won the “Architecute of the Year” awards (Årets Arkitektur). The awards was handed out during the Swedish Design Awards by RUM in Stockholm.
