“We are so happy and thrilled to do Arknat in Skåne both 2021 and 2022. A small and intriguing region in Sweden!”
Martin Björklund, Arknat
ARKNAT started in the High Coast of Sweden with a unique co-operation between Sweco and FriluftsByn. The project got support not only from the region and other companies but also land owners and the general public.
Arknat’s first stop on it’s ongoing tour is Skåne.
In total 9 new Arknat structures will be built 2021-2022. Scroll down to learn more about where to find the shelters in Skåne.
A UNIQUE CO-OPERATION
ARKNAT Skåne is a collaboration between many different stakeholders who all support Arknat in best posible and personal way.
Some sponsor us with essencial buildning material and tools like Cramo, XL-BYGG, Essve, Organowood, Moelven and Ängavången Ekgolv
Other partners like the municipalities of Östra Göinge, Kristianstad, Bromölla, Ängelholm, Landskrona and Kävlinge supported with the sites and great help with small and big issues.
Region Skåne with Skåneleden are Arknats no 1 fans and help out both moneywise and with great trail knowledge. The local banks Sparbanken Skåne, Gripen and Färs och Frosta supports us and think we are doing a great job creating new places in nature for public use.
As you see there are so many involved and thanks to them Arknat is Arknat and our visions becomes reality.
“In just two weeks we go from simple idea to finished building. That’s impressive and an important experience to have in our future profession”
Linnea Gillberg, student LTH
