SÖRMLAND 2025
After waiting for us several years Sörmland finally could welcome Arknat to their place in the world and on wonderful sites we combined architecture and nature .

A UNIQUE CO-OPERATION
ARKNAT Sörmland is a collaboration between many different organisations and companies who all support Arknat in best possible and personal way.
Some helped us with essential building material and tools like Cramo Nyköping, Strong-Tie with fastening, and local Sandåsa with the wood.
Other partners like the municipalities of Oxelösund, Katrineholm and Nyköping supported with the sites and great help with small and big issues.
Europes leading consultant in architecture and engineering – Sweco – are Arknat’s no 1 fan and helped out with expertise in design process, timber knowledge and practical building.
Last but not least the local bank foundation Sparbanksstiftelsen Sörmlands sparbank were the ones invited us to Sörmland and this was their gift to the grand hiking trail Sörmlandsleden and to the people using it.
As you see there are many partners involved. Thanks to them Arknat can be Arknat and our visions becomes reality.

ARCHITECTURE OF THE YEAR
In the year 2020 ARKNAT won the ”Architecute of the Year” awards (Årets Arkitektur). The awards was handed out during the Swedish Design Awards by RUM in Stockholm.
