There is much to explore and be fascinated by in nature. Natures shapes and patterns on this site can be found in mosses, lichens, rocks, water, mushrooms, a mix of trees and much more. The inspiration for TICKA comes from the polypore family, which has a great
variety in appearance. They grow on living and dead wood, both on deciduous
and coniferous trees. Most of the species are found on older or dead trees.
They are therefore also often a sign of an old forest. A forest with a high biodiversity and high experiential values.
TICKA has an organic shape, and it will blend into the surroundings. On site
there are three trees standing in a row. They are particularly distinctive for the
site. TICKA is closely placed in connection to these trees. The placement offers
a nice experience of Holmsjön. One can experience the site protected by the
shelter or on the open cliff next to the water in the afternoon and evening sun.
Few people have probably thought about what a polypore looks like on the inside. Therefore, you are extra welcome to crawl into the shelter and take part of
this particular polypore’s unique inside pattern
